This place has the market cornered on Boston local on demand same day moves. I was in a bind needing a piece of furniture delivered from Boston Interiors warehouse in Stoughton to my home same day and found these guys and glad I did. The app is smooth and they delivered the piece within two hours from ordering and even set it up and assembled in the room I chose. Price was cheaper than using the store for white glove service. Very friendly and great communication I would highly recommend and I will use again.
I warn you away from using this company to move a single item. We ordered a couch from a new store in the area called Home Sense. Apparently that was the only service they had available. The Brilliant Move app we were told to order moving service from was iPhone only so we had to go through the website. There was no phone number to contact, they provided login details there was no use for, and there was no confirmation email once the moving service was ordered. On the day of the move, we were told that they only brought items to the second floor--not the third, which is where we lived, and they would have to charge us an additional $20. We were within 20 miles of the store for an alleged $85 flat rate--which apparently this was a lie since they charged us more as a surprise on the same day! Honestly, I felt the $85 is overpriced for a rate already, but the store presented like this was the only service available. I felt I could have arranged for movers for much, much less, and the $20 for a single floor just added insult to injury. The movers also didn't ask my husband where he wanted the couch. They just left it in the middle of the floor. (This was after they asked me to take off my computer headphones while I was in the middle of a computer call and asked me where I wanted it, and I pointed out my husband was the one directing them so ask him? Not sure why they felt the need to interrupt me as I wasn't the one they were interfacing with? Stereotype?) In short, would not recommend using this company to anyone, ever. Their applications were unusable, and the support was abominable. Their delivery etiquette was terrible, and it was overpriced and overpriced (again). Stay away.
I paid $85 (which I think is their flat fee under a certain distance?) for them to move the dresser 3 miles, but I'm so glad I used them. They were quick, courteous, and wrapped my dresser really well. I word to the wise—download the app! It was super helpful. I could see the status of my move (not yet picked up, in transit, etc.). You can even see when the trunk is en route. The delivery crew phoned ahead to give me a ten minute warning. My dresser arrived in mint condition. I would definitely use Brilliant Move again, and recommend them for any moves great or small!
